After copying the SPL CD contents to /usr/share/doclib/odl/u99q1_1
dxbook /usr/share/doclib/odl/u99q1_1/decw_book/library.bks
brings up the bookreader w/ a list of books, however. When I attempt to
access the FORTRAN 77 reference manual I get:
Error opening book.
Title: Language Reference Manual
File: /USR/SHARE/DOCLIB/ODL/U99Q1_1/PROGTOOL/DF77AU52/DF77LRM.BKB
Reason: No such file or directory
/usr/share/doclib/odl/u99q1_1/progtool/df77au52/df77lrm.bkb exists.
Is the software really so lame that the DU docs must install in:
/usr/share/doclib/online
and the SPL docs must install in:
/USR/SHARE/DOCLIB/ODL
with all the filenames converted to uppercase during the copy?
PLEASE tell me it isn't so and that a commandline switch or environment
variable will spare me the need to create aliases for all these files.
It can't be that DUmb can it?
Dazed and confused again!
