Thanks to many who responded to my question which was..;
how to get ssh and sshd, which had been working before
install of c2 security, working again.

Many responded with the statement that you must reconfigure
and remake ssh, which is true. Special thanks to Dan Riley
who suggested using Digital cc instead of gcc to do the job.

Also it is necessary to put a small script in

/sbin/init.d to start the daemon at system startup.

------------------------------------

So far no bites on my second question, though, which was:

Why is it that my system of five nodes, which was and is an
NIS-based systems with only one master node, still seems to
have five different passwords for everyone in the age of
C2 security? The man pages say that doing

passwd

on the NIS master should fix it for all five...this is not happening.
