Hi, managers

My machine is pw433au and the OS is DU4.0d which upgraded from V4.0c and
patched with DUV40DAS00003-19981208.tar.
My Problem is :
1. The memory used by Xserver increase continuely until it crash. When I
applied patch_3_kit, the X11 patch failed with following message
-----------------------------------------------------
Problem installing:

 - DIGITAL_UNIX_V4.0D / X11 Patches:
        Patch 0156.00 - PowerStorm 4D40T,4D50T, or 4D60T Correction

        ./usr/shlib/libVX11.so:
                is installed by:

                                O3DDWSBASE460

and can not be replaced by this patch.

This patch will not be installed.
------------------------------------------------------------
My question is whether this patch will solve the problem, and to install
this patch I need uninstall Open3D first and reinstall it after
apply this patch, ;-(

2. The system become very slowly and Xserver eat up most cpu time when
using netscape to browse web page which have animate gif or java applet.
I belive this is cause by my Xserver is configured with PeusdoColor,
becasue when I configured Xserver with TrueColor this problem doesn't
exist. Unfortunately, another problem comes out. The Polycenter Netview
will not startup and report the a lot of error messages as follows:
-------------------------------------------------------------
ovw: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
ovw: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
...
------------------------------------------------------------
My question is can I use Polycenter Netview V4.1b with truecolor Xserver?

Regards,
