I'm currently writing a thesis on the international hazardous waste
trade, focusing on the North-South negotiations leading to and
following the 1989 Basel Convention. The books and articles that I have
read didn't give enough
insights on the different stances and interests of prominent countries
in
negotiating the development of this convention since 1987 up til now.
So if you happen to have some thoughts or information on the subject --
even the slightest hint of it -- and you're willing to contact me and
share
it with me, I would be forever grateful.
