Hello managers:

    I have a AlphaServer with UNIX 4.0D no patches applied, and I want to syslog to register the
backup process (vdump). The backup is start by the cron daemon. When I configure the parameter
cron in the syslog.conf and restart the syslogd, this process said that dont know the facility cron.

Anyone knows how to configure the cron process to register it's output via syslog.
