will SWCC support shared SCSI disks?

further to this issue:Digital support have informed me, somewhat vaguely,
that SWCC cannot be used with HSZs on a shared SCSI bus (i.e., a
truCluster), but hszterm can. does anyone have anything to say in agreement/
disagreement?
