Hi,
I have a mail problem on our Tru64 unix machine. This is the only
machine having V4.0e installation. The rest are having V4.0D. I can
send mail from this machine to any person. But the incoming mails
are kept in /usr/spool/mqueue directory. I use mailx command to send
and receive mail. I also looked the the protection as well as the user/group of mailx file. This is the same as on other machines.
We use NIS+ in our environment. I never had any such problem before.
When I try to send the mail from this machine I get the following message, but the mail is send correctly:
mailx -s "TEST" kumar_at_psw314.psi.ch </.cshrc
root_at_psw314:/>Cannot bind to map mail.aliases in domain psunix: no such map in server's domain: Invalid argument
I donot get the above message on any other machine. I donot have
any mail.aliases file. We have a standard installation procedure which we use on all Trur64 machines.I have installed the the following Patch file for V4.0e
duv40eas00001-19990202.tar with a size of 41512960 bytes.
sizer -v output:
