SUMMARY: script to probe web page instead of a file

Thanks for the suggestions... sorry, that book request was for local folks
here.

Some suggested using lynx -dump http://webpage.com which works nicely...
I want to do some other stuff too so why not put it all in perl...
so others suggested using the LWP::UserAgent module, which is basically
a set of routines which will act as a browser for you without worrying
about all that socket stuff. Another suggested looking for LWP::Simple

Neither of these are installed, so now I need to find them.

Gotta love this group! And unix for being able to do *almost* anything...
