Hello,
I'm unable to install Oracle 8.0.x (tried "3" and "5") on either of two
AlphaServer 800's, each with 512 Mb RAM.
I've set every environment variable and /etc/sysconfigtab option that is
discussed in the Installation Guide.
Here's the error:
Action: Generating Shared Library
Command: (make -f ins_rdbms.mk ORACLE_HOME=/ora-home/app/oracle/product/8.0.5 client_sharedlib), Out=/ora-home/app/oracle/product/8.0.5/orainst/make.log, Err=/ora-home/app/oracle/product/8.0.5/orainst/make.log

Has anyone seen this before (I hope)?
*Any* ideas?
Thanks!
