Can C2 NIS server serve non-DEC C2 client?

Hi Managers,

We want to turn on the ENHANCED SECURITY on our NIS server (DU4.0D).
Unfortunately, we have both Alpha and SUN (Solaris) as its clients.
This is alright if we still keep SUN using the /var/yp/src/passwd map.
However, we want everything can be up to C2 security.

Does anybody have experience on this? Thanks in advance.
