Strange problem with TLZ09

Hi all,

I have the following strange problem with a TLZ09-DB DAT-drive.

I use this drive to make backups of user data using tar.
I can write to and read from the tape without a problem.
However at the end of the backup-script I use
'mt rewind' to rewind the tape and 'mt unload' to unload
the tape from the drive.
When the backupscript finishes the tape remains in the drive.
When I push the unload button the drive unloads the tape, but the drive
did not completely rewind the tape.
If I put the tape back in the drive and then push the unload button
the drive rewinds the tape completely before unloading the tape.
I used /usr/field/tapex to test the drive and all tests were
successful. As mentioned before reading from and
writing to the tape is no problem.

We didn't have this problem with our previous DAT-drive (same model).

Although obviously not an important problem it is an enoying
one, so I realy like to know what is going wrong here

Thanks in advance,
Bart.
