SUMMARY: new disk configuration

I remind my problem.

After physical installing of new disk my configuration tools did not
"see" it in my system.
'show dev' command in firmware indicated that new disk has SCSI #=0
In fact one from old disks has the same SCSI number and 'covered' new
disk (althought 'show dev' displayed SCSI #=6 for it).
Nothing in Unix had to be done. Just one little jumper solved the
problem (changing default SCSI # from 0 to 2).
I partitioned and mounted new disk succesfully with standard CDE
environment tools.

Thanks for all who direct me to check hardware configuration once
more.

Sincerely,
