java locks up netscape 4.51 and 4.6

Hi-

  I've tried both netscape 4.51 and netscape 4.6 on our DU4.0D system
(patch kit 2). Unfortunately both versions lock up when loading java;
the netscape process goes to 99% cpu utilization *indefinitely*.

  Some people have reported similar behavior that eventually stops if the
netscape process is allowed to run. But I've let one of these processes
continue for 15 minutes, and it never left the 'locked-up' state.

Has anyone else seen this?
