Graphic Console Switches

We recently purchased a Masterview CS-104 Console Switch so one
monitor/keyboard/mouse could be shared between four Alphas running
Tru64-Unix. With the console switch we also purchased standard type
cables not Aten/masterview cables.

The current problem is that when using the switch, the keyboard seems
to get re-mapped on the Alphas or not seen correctly but not when a
Windows PC is connected. The keyboard is a standard 101 keyboard
but all the keys right of the <Enter> key are mapped to other functions
or not mapped at all. As an example the slash/question key only prints the
slash symbol not the question symbol.

I have tried re-mapping the keyboard using xmodmap, created an .xmodmaprc
file and individually re-mapping keys all to no avail.

Has anybody experienced the same problem when using console switches
with Alphas? or have solved this type of problem?

Thanks
