Thanks go to the following people for replying; however, I did not find a
solution. Setting up an lp (default printer) entry only redirects *one*
printer.

Chad Price [cprice_at_molbio.unmc.edu]
Christian Mönch [cristian_at_tm.informatik.uni-frankfurt.de]
Richard Bemrose [rb237_at_phy.cam.ac.uk]
Bruce Senn [sennb_at_union.edu]

The problem is that I need to redirect some 300-odd printers to the print
server, and the minial printcap configuration (below in my original email)
seem to be the only way to do so. I was looking for a solution that does not
involve creating some 300-odd entries in the printcap file...

I seem to recall that the Berkeley print system can do this (from my Solaris
days), but I can't recall any more details...oh well.
