disk mirrors with LSM

Ok, this may be a stupid question, but I did not find anything in
the archives to show that anyone else asked it, so what the heck, it
is monday.....

When using LSM, if I create a mirror set with 2 plexes of 2 different
sizes, it seems to take the total size of the largest plex instead of
the smallest.

v vol1 fsgen ENABLED ACTIVE 1900000 ROUND -
pl plex1 vol1 ENABLED ACTIVE 900000 CONCAT - RW
sd sd01 plex1 0 0 900000 class_d01 rz8a
pl plex4 vol1 ENABLED ACTIVE 1900000 CONCAT - RW
sd sd04 plex4 0 0 1900000 class_d04 rz10a

This shows two plexes -- one is 19000000 and the other 900000 and yet a
df shows the size to be the 19000000 AND I can fill the whole filesystem.

If the disk fails (the larger) what is going to happen to the data? Am I
missing something here on how LSM create the mirror???!?!?!?!

thanks
