I'm trying to figure out the fastest way to move a 17 gig filesystem
to a new server..but...with as little downtime as possible. The
filesystem is a 17G UFS LSM Striped filesystem....and its going to be
moved to a 40G Advfs LSM Striped filesystem.
We've done a cp -Rp /source /target and also tried
cd fromdir; tar cf - . | (cd todir; tar xpf -)
These take entirely too long... Anyone have any ideas on how to move
this filesystem with the least ammount of downtime?
Thanks in advance
