Dear wizards

I want to upgrade an Alphastation 200 4/166 now in Digital UNIX T4.0-1
(Rev. 262.2) -a test version- toward 4.0D in order to get it Y2K proof.

But the firmware is v3.7 and it is necessaary to be in firmware V5.0 at
least. Thus I tried to upgrade.

The CD boots coorectly, it loads and announces
Jumping to the boot code

but never presents the "BOOTFILE:" prompt.

And it is necessary to power cycle the machine to get the >>> prompt
back.

I extensively look at teh release notes without any help...

Any idea?

Thank in advance. I'll summarize

JFV
