open files belonging to a PID

Greetings all,

Does anyone know of a way to find what files a process is using (ie,
reading, writing etc).

For example:

The `fuser` command will tell me all the processes associated with a
directory, but it won't (to my knowledge) tell me what files are being used
by those processes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
