Dear managers,
I am running C2 security on a Tru64 Unix 4.0e. When I create accounts
I give each an inactive limit of 4 weeks. This is causing a bit of a problem
in that if a person does not access their account for more than 4 weeks,
its of course locked, but it can not be unlocked. I have tried to unlock the
account using dxaccounts and the command usermod but to with effect.
The only way I seem to be able to unlock an account is to change the
inactive limit.
Is the their a way to unlock accounts without changing the inactive limit of
the account? If so, is their a way of doing this from the command line?
Thanks for your help
