Hi again!

Sorry, forgot one bit of information... The current 4.2Gb root disk
is a JBOD, but it is on the raid controller. ie.....

Disk re1 disk label:

/dev/rre1a: character special (44/64) pci #0 SWXCR disk #1
# /dev/rre1a:
type: SWXCR
disk: SWXCR
label:
flags: dynamic_geometry
bytes/sector: 512
sectors/track: 32
tracks/cylinder: 128
sectors/cylinder: 4096
cylinders: 2045
sectors/unit: 8378368
rpm: 3600
interleave: 1
trackskew: 0
cylinderskew: 0
headswitch: 0 # milliseconds
track-to-track seek: 0 # milliseconds
drivedata: 0

So, my second question is, when moving the spare disk in, and pulling the
old root disk out (after the upgrade) is there anything I should be aware
of when dealing with the raid controller???? (I haven't dealt with the
Digital ones defore)

Thanks again,
reg.
Dirk.
