LSM setup

Hi,

I was wondering if someone out there would like to give me a receipe for
setting up LSM, without destroying the current setup.

What I have is a DEC 3000/600 with rz0 and rz1 (2gb disks internal), DU4.0e,
and about 20 scsi disks, mostly 2gb, the rest are 4gb. The 4gb disks are all
on one chain. rz0 is the boot disk at the moment, with rz0a the root
partition, rz0b swap and rz0g /usr. I want to mirror rz0 onto rz1. The rest
of the disks, I want to setup as 2 separate volumes/diskgroups, all the 2gb
in one vol/diskgroup and all the 4gb in the other.

I assume that rootdg will include all the partitions on rz0, using the
volume names - rootvol rz0a, swapvol rz0b and usrvol rz0g. All disks have
been labelled, rz1 has a label identical to rz0, all other disks will not be
using partitions other than c (entire disk). I don't want to have to reload
the operating system.

I was hoping the man pages would include some decent examples, but no. I
have also looked at the Administrator's Course Guide notes, but that seems
to have been written by someone who just read the man pages.

Basically I just want to get a handle on the order to perform commands, and
which set of commands to use.

Thanks to anyone who would like to respond.

Dennis
