SUMMARY: Accounts locked in CDE only

Problem:
I recently added 150 accounts on our server but none of the new accounts
can login via CDE but can login via a text console or telnet into any of the
computers in the same NIS domain. When you do try to login via CDE it says
that the login is incorrect. I have tried to login on to the server
but get the same errors. Any accounts that where added before I added the
large number of accounts seem to be alright. I have reboot a couple of the
client computers but this does not solve the problem. I have also unlocked
the terminal to make certain that this is not a problem. One of the accounts
I removed and then reloaded but this did not solve the problem either.

Solution:
It seems there is a bug in the second jumbo patch for 4.0e that affects
any login that has 8 characters, which all the accounts I added have.
Compaq will be releasing a patch for that particular problem shortly.
