4.0f /etc/routes default keeps changing

We put in a new firewall last week and now are having a problem
with our Digital Unix 4.0f servers when they interact with the firewall.

My /etc/routes file is
default 10.0.50.5

However whenever the Digital Unix server goes thru the firewall
internal NIC, the default route keeps getting set to 10.0.50.45
which is the IP address of the firewall NIC.

How do I fix this please?
