Slow NFS

Dear Managers,

I have a slight problem with NFS

Scenario

4 DU4.0d systems (patch #3)

3 connected to local hub, 1 on a remote site connected vi an IBM
snapper link.

One of the local systems exports a filesystem to the other three. Data
transfer between the local servers is no problem.

Transfer between the server and client on the remote site gives NFS
time-out errors.

Having tested all the routers between local and remote and unable to
find a fault, can anyone suggest any way of increasing the NFS
time-outs to try and work round the problem.

Simon
