Date Rollback problem after Y2K testing

After completing Y2K testing, I rolled back the system date to current
day, and now I have and inconsistency between my SRM console date and the
booted O/S system date. While our system date is correct when I boot our
machine, the console date shows a year of "2047" after halting the system.

I'm pretty sure I have followed the recommended procedures for changing
system date (mount -u /; etc, etc.), so this one has me stumped. Might
this be indicative of a hardware Y2k problem?

We are using an AlphaServer 4000 / DU4.0D with patch #3.

Has anyone else had this problem? I tried searching the archives, but
couldn't find any summaries concerning this issue.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
