panic--kernel memory fault.
Hello real managers,
AS2100
DU3.2c with patchkit DUV32CAS0002
dual 5/250
256Mb
On february, an user application was moved from another
vendor box , where ran ok during 4 years, to an AS2100
with DU 3.2C after succesfully compilation.
The load of the system is increasing and in the last 6
weeks had panicked 5 times.
After the fourth crash patchkit DUV32CAS0002 was applied
Looking to the crash data, all the 5 times appears:
-n fork/procdup " task_create failed. Code 0x11" preceeding
"trap: invalid memory read access form kernel mode"
the same faulting virtual address
4 of the 5 times the same pc of faulting instruction
and then:
panic : kernel memory fault
- several " warning: Files compiled -g3: parameter values
probably wrong.
In the last crash the following dump sequence :
1 panic
2 thread_block
3 thread_preempt
4 mpsleep
5 re_flush
6 drvr_flush
7 boot
8 panic
9 thread_block
10thread_preempt
11 boot
12 panic
13 cpu_ip_intr
14 _XentInt
15 timeout_cpu
16 timeout
17 ss_process_timeouts
- 18 softclock_scan
19 hardclock
20 _XentInt
21 getf
22 fcntl
23 syscall
24 _Xsyscall
No hw errors at SRM level, uerf or dia. Only some with the tape drive
Any idea? Higher patchkit needed?
The application movement to DU4 is not ready yet
Any comment, suggestion will be deeply appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Ada
