Good Morning Managers,
We run DU4.0D on a Alpha Server 1200 with raid 1 for root & usr and raid 5
for the application data with advfs.
I have this problem that dia reports errors with swxcr yesterday morning but
the swxcrmon has not sent any messages. I checked
the directory /usr/opt/swxcr to see if anything logged but there was none.
At the time of the error, I can see that the defrag for the advance file
system was running. When I checked the defragcron.log it says that the
domain was defragmented and son't see any error messages!
I will be logging with COMPAQ(it's only 07:10am now) but what I wanted to
know is: "has anyone seen this kind of a problem?" This morning certain
application jobs have run without reporting problems. Is it OK to let users
go on the system? Any quick responses will be appreciated. Enclosed is the
dia output.
