We have two machines running Digital Unix 4.0E and 4.0F respectively.
The output in /usr/adm/syslog.dated/*/lpr.log on both machines contains what
appears to be debugging information. That is, a lot of noise, unless you are
actually trying to debug a printing problem.
When I did a grep for lpd on a full process listing I found that lpd is
running without the -l option.
Does anyone know how to turn debugging off?
Please reply directly to me and I will summarise.
Thanks,
David
