Hello,

I've got an AlphaStation 200 (4/233) that ran fine with firmware revisions
5.3 and earlier. I installed the 5.5 srm console with the file downloaded
from the DEC site and the installation went fine. Both the "update" &
"verify" commands executed w/o errors. However, when I rebooted, I get
this:

ff.fe.fd.fc.fb.fa.f9.f8.f7.f6.f5.
ef.df.ee.ed.ec.f4.eb.ea.e9.e8.e7.e6.insufficient dynamic memory for a

What needs to be upgraded in order to clear the "insufficient dynamic memory
for a request of 4592 bytes" message?

The box shipped with 512-KB of flashROM for the console firmware. So it
seems illogical that the firmware for this model (versions 5.4+) would have
requirements greater than that which the box shipped with. Or do I just
need to install more SIMMs into the motherboard?

Thanks,
