All-

My original question, regarding the status of an MME development kit for
recent versions of MME, is included below my sig.

I received responses from:

        Ed Bolson <BOLSON_at_FRANGO.HS.WASHINGTON.EDU>
        Sean O'Connell <sean_at_stat.Duke.EDU>

Both indicated that they too were frustrated by the current state of things
with the MME subsets. Sean pointed out that you can ftp an even later version
of the runtime (2.4E, which also is what's on the Tru64 5.0 AP discs) from

        ftp://ftp.digital.com/pub/Digital/MME

but as he pointed out, this still doesn't get you the development subset
of the same version. The impression we have is that we can use the 2.4b
development fileset with the later runtime fileset, until such time as there
is a better solution, *if* there ever is a better solution.

Original question:
Hello!
I upgradeg my PWS 433au to Tru64 4.0f a couple months back, and one of the
updated filesets on the 4.0f discs was MME 2.4d runtime and driver components.
There were no mme development kits though (i.e. header files so I can recompile
apps that support mme/mms). The July 99 SPL includes the 2.4b versions of
the runtime and development stuff.
I do know that MME has been in a "minimum maintenance cycle" / cryogenic freeze
for quite a while, which IMHO is a bad bad thing, but since there's an updated
version of the runtime I would expect an updated version of the devel stuff
should exist as well.
The question is, where can I find the 2.4d development sets?
