Hi,
I have a SCSI disk with Linux ext2 filesystem on it that I want to move
over onto our alpha-server (running DU4.0B). When I try to mount the
disk, it tells me that there is no valid filesystem on the disk.
Is there a way that I can get around this? I can always back up the disk,
then make new filesystem on it under DU, then restore the backup, but this
seems cumbersome. I am hoping that there is a more elegant way.
BTW, I tried just plain mount, mount -t ufs, and mount -d and none of
these worked.
Cheers,
Ed.
