Mounting Tru64 Unix Base OS CD (fwd)

Please pardon the question if this information is already contained in a
FAQ someplace, but I've hunted everywhere without success.

I'm trying to use setld to add a few things to a V4.0F system. The kits
appear to be in BASE/ALPHA. However, I can't get that CD to mount (it
will respond to the mount command, but immediately fails). Other CD's
mount just fine, and I can still boot from the base CD.

Is there any secret incantation to pass to mount in order to mount the
bootable Base OS CD? In the worst case I can boot from the install CD,
drop out to the shell, mount the partition I want and then copy the kits I
need over, but this causes a major disruption for users.

Thanks in advance!

Scott
