Hi Managers
suddenly, our system rebooted itself and struggling to come up (it is
checking dump and trying to reboot several times)..as we have a LSM mirror
for whole system disk and as well as other disks, i changed teh boot
definition to second disk and system came up well and started resyncing...
AS4100/4.0D/PK3.
system was in the CDE console screen. all looked fine. now all of the sudden
screen became blue with a error message : malloc_mem_alloc: no space in
map..i can't even login..but looks like some activity is going on in
disks..and in between the error-message , it also shows the message
"rootvol sync completed,........after 20 minutes............ vol-rz8d
completed .........after 20 minutes.................,vol-rz8e completed and
it means that. i also found after this disk activity in that system disks
stopped.
now with the same bluescreen message, our another user disk is being
synchronized..
we have a swap of 4Gb..
is it because of less swap.., i am getting the message?or is it because of
big core-dump inside causing the problems of out-of -space !!!!?I don't know
!!!!!!!!
can we leave it like that to do it's job for user disk and do a reset after
it's completion?is there any way to come-out safely?TIA and SOS
TIA and SOS
