Hi,

I am kind of new to Digital Unix. We have just recieve 16 hard disks, they
are mounted in two external disk enclosures of eigth disks each. The
computer an Alpha EB64 21164, doesn't get to recognize anything above
id 7. We are using an intraserver ITI-3140U with SCSI id 7.

I read an old message in the list that states the following:
"... that Digital Unix does not yet support wide mode SCSI addressing, so
you can't get to the upper 8 device addresses (8-15)."

This message was sent on April 6, 1995.

Is this a system error, do i need a firmware update, is it the scsi
interface?

Any help or comments will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
