Greetings,

I am new to Tru64 Unix. I had a few questions that I would appreciate some
help and guidance on.
I have an LX164 533Mhz box with Tru64 Unix 4.0F.

        1. How would I go about installing a TLZ09 DAT drive? Do I power
down the system, install
the drive, power up the system, use the SRM console to find the
name of the device, and
use the MAKEDEV command to create the dev file(s)?

        2. I have an ELSA Gloria Synergy 8mb video card. I already figured
out how to change the
depth to 24bit. I wanted to know what extra functionality can be
used with the card. Is
it possible to install the Open3D subset? And if so how should I
go about installing it
           and testing it?

        3. If I install the C2 subset, does this enable shadow passwords? If
not, then how?

I appreciate any help that can be offered. Tru64 is different from Linux or
Solaris, yet I think it's better. Thanks again in advance!
