SUMMARY: NIS & C2 w/FreeBSD & Solaris

Question: Is it possible to run C2 security exporting the account
information through NIS to all of these clients?

Thanks to Frank Wortner <frank_at_bondnet.com> and Jim Belonis
<belonis_at_dirac.phys.washington.edu> for their responses on this. The
answer is no since DU uses a different scheme for shadowed passwords.
As well, passwords under DU with more than 8 characters use a different
encryption algorithm.
