Problems with Samba 2.0.5a on Tru64 UNIX V4.0D

Hello

Does anyone have any experience with compiling and installing Samba
2.0.5a on Tru64 UNIX V4.0D?
                  
 When I try to run the the program ./configure in order to configure Samba
it writes the following messages:
                  
            "checking configure summary
             ERROR: No locking available. Running Samba would be unsafe
             configure: error: summary failure. Aborting config"
                  
The program also writes the messages:
                  
             "checking for fcntl locking... no
              checking for broken (glibc2.1/x86) 64 bit fcntl locking... no
              checking for 64 bit fcntl locking... no"
                  
They seem to be the only messages that have something to do with
"locking", but I don't know how to avoid them.
                  
                  
Can anybody help me?
