Dear Managers:

I have had a new motherboard put into our Alphastation 255. The
Clinical Engineering department did something with the disk RZ26N which
was running Tru64 4.0. How can I try to restore the root partition
without erasing the /usr partition? I've tried stuff like this in the
past to no avail.

What I would like to do is go into a system management from the 4.0 CD's
that I have and fix the root partition and mount the old /usr
filesystem. I have never been able to get this to work on an Digital
Unix but I have on other Unixes.

Thanks!!
