Finding old m4 executables

Hello,

I need an old m4 executable - one where include() doesn't core dump.
The GNU m4 works OK in this respect, but I've been suffering other problems
with that version.

I've read on this list that the older Digital Unix versions have a better
m4. I've got a Digital Unix 3.2E CD here, but I cannot find m4 on it. Does
anyone have any clue where it is?

On 4.0E (which I'm running now), it appears to be in OSFBASE435.
[ A quick aside: is there an official alternative to
"grep m4 /usr/.smdb./*.inv" style commands? ]

I couldn't find this in the OSFBASE on 3.2E - assuming that I'm unpacking it
correctly. (I didn't want to use setld as it's clearly the wrong version for
this system, so I did "gzip -cd OSFBASE360 | tar tvf -".)

Cheers,

        James
