Hi Admins!
We have 2 Alphas (DEC3000-600, AlphaStation 255). Both with Tru64 Unix 4.0E
PatchKit 1. On both Systems quotas are enabled. We have problems with the
grace time. If a user exceeds his quota on system one, the grace time will be
none - on system two it will be 7 days. I tried quotaoff/quotacheck/quotaon on
system one, but it won't fix the problem with the grace time.
On System One (AS255):
# mount
.
.
homedomain#user on /usr/users type advfs (rw, quota)
.
.
# quota dummy2
Disk quotas for user dummy2 (uid: 666)
Filesystem blocks quota limit grace files quota limit grace
/usr/users 17664* 10000 20000 2 0 0
# cat /dev/zero >>/usr/users/dummy2/testfile (after a few seconds Ctrl C)
# chmod dummy2.users /usr/users/dummy2/testfile
# quota dummy2

/usr/users 11964* 10000 20000 none 3 0 0
# more /etc/fstab
/dev/rz0a / ufs rw,userquota,groupquota 1 1
.
.
homedomain#user /usr/users advfs rw,userquota 0 2

System Two (DEC 3000):
# mount

# quota dummy2

Filesystem blocks quota limit grace files quota limit grace
/usr/users 476 10000 20000 2 0 0
# cat /dev/zero >>/usr/users/dummy2/testfile (after a few seconds Ctrl C)
# chmod dummy2.users /usr/users/dummy2/testfile
# quota dummy2
Filesystem blocks quota limit grace files quota limit grace
/usr/users 15134* 10000 20000 7 days 3 0 0
# more /etc/fstab
root_domain#root / advfs rw,userquota,groupquota 0 1
.
.
homedomain#users /usr/users advfs rw,userquota 0 2
.
.
Any sugestions?
TIA,
M. Richter
