This week we had some discussion about maintaining accounts. I still have
an unanswered question about "retiring" accounts and email.
I'd like to retire the account with dxaccounts. This leaves a record of
the username and ownership of any files left on the system is shown by
the person's login name.
However, I like sendmail to bounce mail like they no longer have an
account. Since "retiring" an account doesn't remove the entry in
/etc/passwd, sendmail seems to think they still have an account and
delivers mail.
TIA for any thoughts on how to do this.
