Thanks to all who responded and apologies that
this info was in archives.
In order to improve the memory performance of
the system it was necessary to use
dxkerneltuner
then select the option 'procs'
and increase the limits on stack and data related
sizes.
Another useful suggestion was 'sys_check' although
I am still trying to figure out all the details
of the information that it returns.
