terminal is disabled

Hi Gurus,

Although this is a frequent topic in this list, I am submitting
the following: our console on a DU 4.0 box is not permitting
accesses, even through the "failsafe session". The message is
well known:

Terminal is disabled - see Account Administrator

I have noticed that

# /tcb/bin/edauth -g -d t console

produces

console:\
        :t_devname=console:t_logdelay#2:t_login_timeout#60:chkent:

or, it does not contain the t_uid. Probably the file was corrupted
and this is causing the problem. Does anyone know how to get the
right number for the console t_uid field? Or maybe the reason is
another thing. Any hints?

TIA,
