Finally, i registered my old licence for this server and it works fine. I
think the licence of my alphaserver 1200 doesn't match with my alphaserver
2100.
Thanks a lot to Keith Strange and thomas.peruzzi
THEIR ANSWER :
1)
hello!
I'm not quite sure and we do nat have an alpha 2100 but we had the same
error-message after putting in the second cpu without loading the extra
licence. Maybe it's the same problem.
hope I could help you

>Hello,
> I have an Alphaserver 1200 and i copy the system on an alphaserver 2100,

>lmf list tell me that my OSF-BASE licences are enabled but i can't load
them. When i do "lmf load 0 OSF-BASE", it tells me :
>Not enough units to load OSF-BASE
>I tried to issue my 2 licences OSF-BASE and register the old licence of my
alphaserver 2100, but when i load it, it returns the same error message.
