having the UID of a file changed at creation time

Hi Managers,

I need to know if there is a possibility to change the UID

of a file at creation time to a specified UID. I need this

feature for user/group quota settings.

Ok, here is what I want to do:

Lets say I have a group named group1 with a groupquota of x blocks.

And I have 10 users with the primary group group1. These users have

the accounts u1 to u10. And each user has a userquota of x/10. (It

is not an option to me, having no userquota just a groupquota)

Now I want to have a Group-Directory which is only limited with

the groupquota. So if user u3 has reached his userquota, but not the

groupquota that u3 has still the possibility to write into this Group-

Directory.

And here was my idea having changed the UID of these files written

into this Group-Directory to an UID of a "dummy"-user according to

group1 but with no userquota. e.g. u0

Is this possible, or is there an already solution for this problem.

I am running DU4.0f

Greetings to all admins!
