How can we dodge the Y2K bullet?

Well it is the time for all of us procrastinators to panic! For various
reasons, which I do *NOT* want to get into, we are down to the wire on Y2K
issues.

We have three systems still running DU4.0 (no a, b, or any other such
letter). They all have ADVFS, C2 security, NFS and 8.8.7 of sendmail. One
is a quasi mailhub and one a DNS server (using DEC's distributed version of
BIND). Web pages are served using Apache 1.3.1 and we have a few other
little things thrown into the mix as well.

We fully understand that we are not Y2K compliant, but what we are wondering
about is just what will actually break and in what way(s). We would prefer
to avoid major software updates this late in the game, but will if we must.
However, we are hoping to perhaps apply a few patches and postpone the issue
of major software updates until this coming spring or summer if the problems
are relatively small and well known.

Any input this group can offer would be *GREATLY* appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
