I am configuring guest accounts on WU-ftp , I am find an example on

At the subject 1. Do the /etc hacks
there are lines that says :
compile the source to use /etc/ftpaccess by default (comes turned off); hack
the source to set use_accessfile = 1;
OR
run the daemon with the -a option.
But If I don't have the BETA VERSION what I should be to make ?, further
How I start the ftpd daemon and shutdown. ?
