Hi,
I'm running Tru64-4.0D on a PC-164LX based machine and at the request of
several users, want to use a different window manager than dtwm and CDE. I
have compiled other window managers such as enlightenment, windowmaker and
icewm but have only been able to get them started by modifying the
.Xdefaults file to include a new startup command for the windowmanager such
as:
Dtsession*wmStartupCommand: /usr/local/bin/wmaker
This seems like a very inelegant solution and in fact results in very long
startup times. Is there a better place to specify which window manager to
use?
Thanks in advance,
Bruce
