I forgot to specifically mention, that he same behaviour was observed on the
local network on the site, from a PC.
It is starting to look like SWITCH <-> NIC problems, with a touch of bad comm
lines. NIC is set to UTP, 10Mb, 1/2duplex.
Thans to all of you who responded. People sugested changing MTU and observing
switch status. I will summarize.
